“I wanted to write you a personal letter in regards to Shadyside Care Center.  First of all, your care center is outstanding.  My mother and I are so appreciative of the kindness and compassion we were given.  The nurses were outstanding, the activity director, the kitchen people who brought lunch, the people who maintain personal hygien, and many more.  We certainly will spread the word about the care we received.  I hope that your employees will be told how much they meant to us.  Thank you–Thank you!!.” — B.D.

“We cannot express enough how grateful we are for all the wonderful loving caring ways you helped  [Mom] the last 8 years of her life.  No other place could have done such a wonderful job!  From the depths of our hearts, thank you!”–J.N.

“I want to thank you for the loving care that you gave [my Brother].  Thank you for going out of your way to do the little things that made his stay more tolerable–the hugs, the kisses, the waves, the tweeking of his toes, the beautiful smiles and the gentle teasing–all appreciated.” –D.V.

“I don’t know how to begin to thank you for your kindness, your thoughtfulness, your friendship and support and your loving concern and care for [my Brother].  He often told me ‘I’m having a good time!’  He felt he had friends there, not just people doing a job.”  –B.F.

“There are no words to do justice to the gratitude I feel toward you.  Though [my Mother] was tired and quiet, she was clean, warm, dry and had your cheerful warm and caring environment to hold on to.  Thank you SO much.” –C.V.

“Expressing our appreciation for the care and support you have provided at Shadyside Care Center is paramount.  Each day staff cam in to gently speak to [our loved one], many coming in during their time off.  Such professionalism and compassion should never be overlooked.  These ladies went above and beyond not only for [our loved one], but for our emotional support.” G. & J.H.

“I want to thank you for taking care of me here.  I got a different outlook on things.  Word was that nursing homes were badly run, food and patient care was sub-standard, etc….  My stay here proves that’s not true.  I had the best care that could be done and you solved all my problems–bigger bed, bigger bathroom tools, and 24-7 care at the touch of a button.  The aids always checked in on me, snacks were always offered, and the food was VERY GOOD and I was given whatever and how much I wanted.  The nurses also checked in and asked about pain and I was fine.  The maintenance fixed things I wanted fixed on the spot.  And your extra events are something else.  And therapy did a wonderful job.  I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you and your staff provided for me while I was here.”–B.K.
